Step 1 – Getting your quote
You’ll begin your journey by reaching out to us for your quick, free moving estimate. You can either give your local Two Small Men branch a call or start your quote online, and one of our friendly Move Coordinators will get back to you within 48 hours.
Step 2 – Booking your move
This part’s easy—after you’ve decided to book your move with Two Small Men with Big Hearts, let your Move Coordinator know that you’re ready to schedule your moving day. They’ll take care of the rest and send you an email confirmation with all the details you need to know!
Step 3 – Moving Day Arrival
Our team will give you a call to confirm your move 48-72 hours before moving day. Your local move begins when our crew arrives at your house within the arrival window provided by your Move Coordinator. A member of the crew will explain billing, insurance options, and go over the plan for the move with you.
Step 4 – Packing (Optional)
If you booked packing services, we’ll begin carefully packing your belongings and labeling boxes with your guidance for your new home. Step 5 – Loading the Truck
Your furniture, boxes, and any other belongings will be safely loaded onto our truck. Let our team know if there are any specific boxes you’d like unloaded first so they can be loaded last! We recommend keeping a box of essentials in your car, just in case you don’t get around to unpacking everything on your first night in the new house.
Step 6 – Off-loading
After we place floor runners around your new home to protect your floors, your belongings will be carefully unloaded and taken to their correct room or area. If you requested furniture disassembly and/or reassembly, we’ll take care of that too. The crew will then wrap up your bill with you.
Step 7 – Feedback
We deeply appreciate receiving feedback from our customers. After your move, you’ll receive an automated survey that asks you to evaluate every aspect of the move. Your honest feedback helps us to improve our processes and pay compliments forward to hardworking movers!
